DAF XD 370 6×2 Phoenix Augured Hotbox

Fitted with Phoenix Augured Hotbox installation. The hotbox dropside body is 8 m³ with 60/40 split chamber and driven with twin augers. The chambers are heated with a thermostatically controlled automatic gas heating system. Gas bottles can be lifted with the Penny Hydraulics 125 kg hoist. These are contained in the gas bottle storage with security gates.

The body has a fall arrest system and integral sign storage between the cab and hotbox body. Dedicated access points to the body include three points of contact. Lids are manually operated with safety interlocks.
