Erris Builders Ltd continues to grow with their new Scania P410 Grab Loader.

Based in Birmingham, civil engineering contractor Erris Builders Ltd welcomes a new Scania P410 XT 8x4 Grab Loader to its fleet.

Erris Builders Ltd has been an established family-owned civil engineering firm in the Birmingham area for almost 50 years. Started in 1973, their 48 years of business has seen the firm grow to 8 sites which allows Erris to cover both Birmingham and the surrounding areas; from Moreton in Marsh to Leicester, all the way to Stone near Stoke-on-Trent. Within Erris’ civil engineering remit, the company offers drainage, groundworks, structural repair, highway maintenance, and bulk excavation services.  

However, the business also offers a number of jetting & waste services including drain clearance, specialist heavy-duty cleaning, and waste disposal. Clearly, Erris are an all-encompassing construction and civil engineering firm. In its earlier years, the business was an MAN only fleet but has since grown to 23 vehicles, of which 10 are >7.5 ton, that is a mix of DAF, Scania, and Mercedes.

Erris’ latest acquisition is a Scania P410 XT 8x4 chassis with Kel-Berg Grab Loader equipment fitted. This features the Palfinger Epsilon M125 classic crane, Kel-Berg’s steel body & galvanized bolt-together subframe, and Edbro TS26 underfloor RAM and Kinshofer clamshell bucket. Erris needed the new vehicle in continuation with their planned replacement program and will be used to service their various jobs throughout the Midlands.
