The Bucher V65 truck-mounted sweeper is the latest and greatest in highway sanitation; building on the benefits of the VT651 whilst bringing several welcome additions, such as dual and simultaneous sweeping.
The V Range has established itself as Bucher's most reliable and dependable truck mounted sweeper. With 50 years of evolution and continuous improvement, the latest V Range sweeper provides a full range of advanced innovations now as standard.
Design
Designed to fit a variety of chassis models and specific operational requirements, the V65 will provide the power and performance needed for the task at hand. In-cab controls are ergonomically positioned to create a safe and easily operated vehicle whilst sweeping.
With a tough demanding setting in mind, the new V65 is the toughest it has ever been. The hopper is manufactured from 4 mm 1.4003 Cromweld Stainless Steel which is shotblasted with an aluminium oxide before being covered with a strontium based primer and hard wearing top coat.
Equipment
It comes equipped with a high-pressure washing system and hand lance, making washdowns after use simple and easy. The 15 mm top-mounted wander hose allows for gully sucking, with additional extensions and the remote lubrication points making for quick and easy maintenance.
The hopper is capable of carrying approximately 6.5m³ of waste, paired with a 1554 L water tank. This has all been fitted to a DAF LF230 4x2 Chassis.
